1. Scope of this policy

This policy explains what data oviktech.com collects, why, how long it is kept, and what rights you have over it. It also covers messages that reach us through the site, by email, or on WhatsApp.

This is an informational website: there are no user accounts, no payments, no store, and no visitor-published content. We collect the minimum needed to reply to you and run the site — nothing more.

3. What we actually collect

a) What you send through the contact form

• Name and email — required, so we can reply.
• Phone, company, subject — optional.
• Your message.

The message is emailed straight to the group inbox. We do not store it in a database on the site; it stays in our mailbox like any business correspondence.

b) What is generated to protect the form

• A fingerprint of your IP, not the IP itself: to cap how many messages one sender may submit, we store a cryptographic hash (SHA-256) of your address, never the address itself, and it cannot be reversed. It is deleted automatically after 24 hours.
• A hidden honeypot field: invisible to people; if filled, the request is treated as automated and rejected.

c) Usage measurement

Aggregate visit statistics through Google Analytics 4 — pages viewed, referral source, device type, approximate duration. We do not use it to identify you personally. Details in section 6.

d) Server and security logs

The site is served through a content delivery network that keeps short-lived technical logs (IP address, request time, browser type) for security and abuse prevention. This is an operational necessity for any website.

We do not collect sensitive data (health, religious, political or financial), do not ask for it, use no biometric identification, and make no automated decisions with legal effect on you.

4. Why we use it

• To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation or arrange a meeting.
• To route your message to the relevant company within the group.
• To protect the site against automated submissions and flooding.
• To improve the site using aggregate statistics — which pages get read, where visitors stop.
• To gauge our marketing campaigns at an aggregate level.

We do not sell your data, do not rent it, do not share it with advertisers, and do not add you to a mailing list you did not ask for.

5. Who we share it with

We share your data only in these cases, and only as far as necessary:

• Group companies: Arena Marketing · Surla Business · Up Hangar · Aula Property · Digitala Code — when routing your enquiry to the right team.
• Technical service providers: hosting, the content delivery network, the email service, and Google for measurement. They process data on our behalf and under our instructions.
• Legal obligation: if lawfully required by a competent authority.

Some of these providers process data outside Syria. By using the site you understand your data may be processed in other countries whose data-protection laws may differ.

6. Cookies and measurement tools

This site uses cookies and measurement tools to understand how the pages are used, improve them, and gauge campaign performance:

• Google Tag Manager: a container managing the measurement tags. It collects no data itself, and only loads after your first interaction or three seconds after the page opens.
• Google Analytics 4: aggregate statistics as described in section 3.
• Local storage in your browser: one key (ovik-cookie-note) remembering that you have seen the cookie notice. It holds no personal data.

The site's fonts, images and scripts are hosted on our own server, so no third-party request is made to render a page.

You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings; this may affect some non-essential features without preventing you from browsing.

7. How long we keep it

You may request earlier deletion at any time — see section 9.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access: know what we hold about you.
• Rectification: correct inaccurate data.
• Erasure: ask us to delete your data.
• Object and restrict: object to certain processing or ask us to restrict it.
• Withdraw consent: at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

To exercise any right, contact us using the details in section 11. We respond within 30 days at the latest, and may ask you to verify your identity for your own protection.

10. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures proportionate to an informational website:

• Full transport encryption (HTTPS), enforced on every page.
• Security headers preventing framing, content injection and referrer leakage.
• Input validation and email-header injection prevention on the form.
• A per-sender message cap and a honeypot for automated submissions.
• Email addresses are never written in plain text in the page code, to defeat address harvesters.

No system is absolutely secure, but we protect your information to industry standards. If you find a vulnerability, see /.well-known/security.txt.

11. Children's privacy

This site is aimed at businesses and professionals. It does not target children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you learn that a child has sent us their data, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or the tools we use change. The last-updated date appears at the top of the page, and we flag material changes clearly.
